Creativity Shell Hosts Munchkin Market – ALL Items Made/Sold by Rochester Kids!
On Saturday, March 17, 2018, the Creativity Shell Rochester will host our first annual Mini Maker’s (AKA Munchkin) Market inside the atrium of Village Gate Square from 10AM – 2PM. This public event will consist of k-12 students from all over Rochester converging to sell their own handmade goods. The students will have the unique chance to gain business, social, and entrepreneurial skills as they interact with customers.
The Creativity Shell Rochester is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to use creative trades to educate and inspire the next generation of makers. Our organization teaches sewing/textile arts and other trades classes to students in public libraries, schools and shelters that rescue children from homelessness and human trafficking. Our classes are designed to educate and inspire children by teaching them essential life and practical skills.
Vendors: All vendors must be K-12 students and must sell items made by the student or his/her group. Students get to KEEP the money they make or they can choose to donate the money back to their school, an organization or group of their choice.

Vendor Costs: All vendors at the Munchkin Market will be required to wear an official Creativity Shell Munchkin Market Shirt which is included in the vendor registration fee of $20. Vendor registration fee also reserves space for 1 Table at the Munchkin Market. In the event there will be two or more vendors at one table, additional vendors will only need to purchase t-shirts for $10 each. This can be done at registration.
i.e. 1 Student (Vendor + T-Shirt) = $20
i.e. 2 Students at one table (Vendor + T-Shirt + T-Shirt) $30
Homeschool students are encouraged to participate in this event as well as Scout and School groups who want to raise funds for their organizations or cause.
Vendor space will be limited for this event so early registration is encouraged.
