The Creativity Shell is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that use creative trades to educate and inspire the next generation of makers. Our organization teaches sewing/textile arts and other trades classes to students in public libraries, schools and shelters that rescue children from homelessness and human trafficking. Our classes are designed to educate and inspire children by teaching them essential life and practical skills.

On Saturday, March 17, 2018, the Creativity Shell will host our first annual Munchkin Market at Village Gate Square. This public event will consist of 60+ students from all over Rochester converging to sell their own handmade goods. The students will have the unique chance to gain business, social, and entrepreneurial skills as they interact with customers. Many of our students are selling items to raise funds to support personal causes such as cancer awareness or for refugees.  Some children are also raising funds to support their local scouts and sports teams.  Complimentary to their personal goals, the Mini Maker’s Market is also a wonderful opportunity for the local kids of Rochester to shine as the next generation of makers and possibly future tenants in Village Gate Square.

We are asking you or your organization to help sponsor the Mini Maker’s Market. Your tax-deductible donation can sponsor a table for a student to display their handmade goods, materials to make goods, student participation as well as event expenses.

Sponsorship packages range from $25 – $200 or a custom donation of any amount. Sponsors will be highlighted with “thank you” rewards including (but not limited to) name recognition on the table you sponsor, inclusion in the program booklet for the Mini Maker’s Market, logos on the Creativity Shell website, our social media pages, and complimentary tickets to future Creativity Shell events!
