Creativity Shell Moving into Former Painting with a Twist Studio at 807 Ridge Road in Webster!
Nonprofit organization, the Creativity Shell is moving into the former Painting with a Twist Studio at 807 Ridge Road in Webster, NY!
If you have not heard of the Creativity Shell, the organization teaches sewing/textile arts, cooking, building, design and other trades classes to students in their private studios, as well as libraries, schools and shelters that rescue children from homelessness, trauma and human trafficking. Their classes are designed to educate and inspire children by teaching them essential life and practical skills.
While previously located in Brighton for the last two years, the organization has outgrown their current shell and and were in need of a location that offered them more space, usability and parking for parents. “There are a lot of large projects that we want to teach the children to make, but it became increasingly difficult to do that in our current space.” Says creative director and founder of the Creativity Shell, Shelancia Daniel. “We are excited about having a more open concept studio and we can’t wait to get the kids in there to create!” added Daniel.
The Creativity Shell in Webster will be open in August and will be hosting FREE Grand Opening Sewing Workshops to the public from 10AM – Noon on Saturday, August 3, 2019.
Registration for a remaining summer camps as well as after-school classes is also available online.
