
Registration for Winter 2018 Classes at the Creativity Shell Rochester is OPEN!
In what is gearing up to be a Creative start to 2018, registration for sewing/fashion design, and other creative classes at the Creativity Shell Rochester is now open! The new semester begins on January 8th and runs through March 30th. Register before December 20th and save 25% off registration!
The Creativity Shell Rochester is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to use creative trades to educate and inspire the next generation of makers. Our organization teaches sewing/textile arts and other trades classes to students in public libraries, schools and shelters that rescue children from homelessness and human trafficking. Sewing/textile arts classes are designed to educate and inspire children by teaching them essential life and practical skills.
Some of the new classes you will see at the Creativity Shell this winter are:
Social Reading Club: This class meets the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the Month. Students in this class will be reading a variety of different books and will learn to make items from the books using a variety of different mediums (such as cooking, pottery, sewing and more).
Class Dates: 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the Month
Time: Saturday’s 10AM – 11:30
Ages: 5+
Cost: $15/Class or $160 (Semester)
Little Builders: This class meets on Thursdays and is great for elementary students to learn about building with wood and other objects. Students in this class will learn to build bridges with pop cycle sticks, hammer/nail string art, pyrography and bird/toy house building.
Time: Thursday’s 5:30 PM – 6:30PM
Ages: 6+
Cost: $15/Class or $160 (Semester)
