SPRING 2017 Sewing/Textile Arts class in Houston Public Libraries!
It’s been one year since Kingwood Branch Public Library embraced the Creativity Shell and we are happy to announce that additional Houston Libraries are following the stitch. In January 2017, the Creativity Shell will offer 10 sewing/textile arts classes at 5 Houston Libraries (Kingwood Branch, Baldwin Boettcher Branch, Ring Library). Each library will offer 12-week sewing classes for students in Grade 3 – 5 (Junior Class) and grade 6 – 12 (Teens).

Registration for library classes begins on January 3, 2017 at the libraries (not at the Creativity Shell). Students in this class will also be preparing for the Creativity Shell’s annual fashion show, Creativity Rocks on Saturday, April 29, 2017 @6PM!
Sewing/textile arts programs in selected public libraries are offered free of charge to students. Space in these classes are limited to 12 students for the junior class and 12 for the teen’s class. Parents are encouraged to ONLY register their child if they can commit to the 12-week sewing program AND to their child being in the fashion show.
