Pirates of the Caribbean Camp!

This week, we are learning about pirates and will be sewing/cooking and crafting items from a few of the Caribbean countries where they visited!

MONDAY:Pirates away!  Today we are making our own pirate gear and getting ready to set sail for the Caribbean!
TUESDAY:Today we are visiting Havana, Cuba.  We are making our own musical instruments.
WEDNESDAY: Holiday!
THURSDAY:Today we are visiting Turks & Cacaos. We are going to weave our own baskets.
FRIDAY: Today we are visiting Bermuda. We are painting colorful pictures and dyeing fabrics.

Join us for a week of Harry Potter Costumes and Accessories Sewing, Crafting and Cooking Camp!

MONDAY:Sorting Day.  Join your house and create items based on your house rules, colors and themes.
TUESDAY:Animals!  Today we are creating fun animals from the books and movies.
WEDNESDAY:Get ready for a Quidditch match! Students will create their own broomsticks and will make a custom snitch.
THURSDAY:Experiment Day! Today we are crafting up our own spells and writing our own spell books.
FRIDAY:We are having a feast today!  Students will help to cook and prepare meals for an end of term feast.

Join us for a week of Interior Design Camp!  Students in this camp will be making over their bedrooms by making decorative pillows, curtains, pillow cases and more!

MONDAY:Decorative Pillow Day.  Students will learn to add trims to pillows such as piping, lace, fringe and more.
TUESDAY:Beds Beds Beds! Today, students will be making their own custom pillowcases and blankets.
WEDNESDAY:Students in this class will learn to make curtains for their bedroom.
THURSDAY:Students in this class will learn to make their own rugs!
FRIDAY:Students in this class will learn to make their own laundry bags and/or toy sac.

TUESDAY:Flood!  What can we do to prevent flooding?  Today we are designing and building homes using different mediums that can protect them from flooding.
WEDNESDAY:Biodegradable homes?  Today we are using biodegradable materials to build homes.
THURSDAY:Mud Huts!
FRIDAY:Smart Homes.  Today we are building homes and will use programmable elements to add lights and other smart elements.

Please join us for Camp Wakanda!  This E-Textiles STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math)sewing camp is inspired by the advanced textiles technology from the movie Black Panther.  Students in this camp will learn to sew with electricity conductive threads to make futuristic wearables.

FRIDAY: Today we are using our design inspirations to create hair pieces and accessories for our outfits.  We are also having a photoshoot today to capture the magical look of the outfits that we created!
