Volunteers Wanted!

The Creativity Shell needs your creative help to Volunteer for one or many of our classes!
The Creativity Shell is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that is on a mission to educate and inspire the next generation of makers!  At the Creativity Shell, we believe that creative trades such as sewing is on the risk of extension and if we do not teach our children our trades today, they will be lost forever. Many of our sewing clubs are provided free of cost to public schools, public libraries and shelters that rescue children from homelessness and human trafficking.  Our organization provides the materials, supplies (including sewing machines) and sewing projects the students will need to sew.

Each class has a trained and dedicated teacher to lead the program, but we are seeking dedicated volunteers who can assist Creativity Shell teachers to deliver the best possible sewing experience for our young learners.

At this time, we are seeking volunteers for the following dates/locations:

Tuesday – 1p.m. – 3p.m. at Garden Oakes Elementary School.
Thursday – 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Baldwin Boettcher Library.
Monday – Friday @ Various times at the Creativity Shell Makerspace in Kingwood, TX.

Interested volunteers, please email a resume with availability to sdaniel@creativityshell.org.
